The Client for Dali Eryuan Private Resort Hotel initiated this Bai Cultural themed 78 keys Private Resort Villa Hotel and Bai Cultural Retail Street development with a strong commitment to preserve and promote Bai Culture and its unique traditional architectural style. The 17 hectare site is located close to Cibi Lake in Eryuan, Dali and sits within a valley that falls south to Dali’s famous Erhai Lake.
HBAarchitecture’s master plan sought to rehabilitate the site’s partially destroyed wetlands and through sensitive placements of new buildings, recreated a Boutique Resort and Cultural Retail Street in an organic, authentic and traditional Bai cultural theme. Guest rooms and Central Facility buildings are clustered in small groups around a central courtyard. Traditional Bai family units are closely knitted. Bai Tribes have a strong sense of community. They are highly artistic and great crafts people. These traits will be evident in the buildings and interiors of Dali Eryuan Private Resort Hotel.
